Happy 1 Month Birthday, Bryce!

Wow, already one month! In a lot of ways, it feels like Bryce has been with us forever. He is mostly easy going as long as he is being held. He sleeps most of the day in my arms and spends most of the night right next to me. I have also learned that Bryce hates the car. He cries for a lot of our rides. When I stop to calm him down he is sweating like crazy and mad! He actually starts to calm down when he hears the seat belt clicking open. What a smarty. Unfortunately, it only lasts for 5 minutes before he is screaming again. Nolan has been a great big brother and loves to hold Bryce and talk to him.
Bryce was not impressed with our birthday song, probably because I wasn't holding him and because it was his witching hour.

let's have a pic-a-nic

Nolan loves to have a picnic. Anytime we eat anywhere other than the table he says "that was a delicious pic-a-nic"
So today we had a picnic on the front porch (The lawn was too wet). Bryce enjoyed himself too, he slept through most of it, and then kicked his legs for a few minute while we enjoyed the breeze.

two boys in a tub

Who knew you could actually bathe two kids at once? That is quite a conquest for me because I was always afraid to bathe Nolan when he was a newborn.
This is actually a great new night time routine because it stops Bryce's crying, and it keeps Nolan entertained. Bryce seems so mellow in the bath that sometimes he will even cry when I take him out.

Nolan's New Tricycle

Nolan got a tricycle. It seems like such a big boy thing to do, and he really loves it. He rings the bell and pedals his feet a little bit. I have a feeling we will be riding this tricycle a lot!

awake...at least for a minute

I try to catch Bryce when he is awake, but it doesn't happen very often!

Bryce and the bottle

We tried the bottle for the first time, and Bryce took it! First he cried, then he gagged, but then he drank it down. Hopefully things will stay like this. Nolan was sweet enough to encourage his brother saying "you can do it baby"

back on our bikes

Nolan has a long list of things he wants to do this summer. He will say "maybe we can do it this summer." Bike riding was one of the top on the list.
Nolan has been asking to take a bike ride almost every day, Finally we got to it!
We haven't been on our bike since I got pregnant, and I forgot how much fun it is. Nolan also got to try out the bike we won at Horsham day.
