sand

Every day Bryce becomes more interested in things that Nolan loves. It is so amazing to see their relationship grow and the fun they have together.
Bryce really loves the sand box. He was so fascinated when I took off his shoes and he felt the sand on his toes. He also loves to take handfuls of sand and let it fall back into the sandbox. He also tried to eat it which made him cry.

 Easter

We woke up early on Easter morning and the first words out of Nolan's mouth were "did the Easter bunny come?"
Nolan found all the eggs and his basket in a flash and wasted no time chomping into hi chocolate bunny.
Nolan chose to go into the nursery instead of staying with us for the first tine at church.
In the afternoon we had a muddy Easter egg hunt at the Porco's house. Nolan checked every egg he found to see what was inside. Bryce was not interested in picking up eggs at all, he just wanted to climb up and down the steps and get in the mud.

Easter Eggs

Getting our Easter Eggs ready was very fun. Matt and Nolan were very serious about mixing the dyes and decorating the eggs. Nolan made an egg of every color and loved the crayons, glitter and stickers on the eggs.
Bryce was interested in eating the glitter, but not decorating the eggs. He also loves playing with Easter grass.

the taste test

No, we aren't just crazy. I know it looks like it, but we are settling a debate.
Dunkin Donuts V. Yum Yums
Well, I have to say that Robby was right, on this day Dunkin Donuts was better!

he likes cucumbers

and beer bottles. Whenever the fridge is open he makes a beeline for the cucumber. He chomps at it while he pulls other items out of the fridge to throw on the floor. Bryce is a little destructo! He also likes to pull DVDs out of the tv stand and magnets off of the fridge.

back at the zoo

This time we went with Michael and Grandmom.
We spent a lot of time feeding the goats. Nolan loved it, Michael was a little nervous. Bryce wanted to eat the food himself.
We also spent a lot of time on the playground. Nolan has gotten so mature he doesn't wait for me anymore. He runs off by himself and it is much harder to keep an eye on him. Bryce also goes his own way on the playground. He crawls up to the very top all by himself. He never even turns around to see if I am following him.
Nolan already has the zoo lay out memorized and could tell me where to walk to find the otters!
and look at my sweet little boy on the way home enjoying a cookie!

Bryce is walking!

Watch out, here he comes.
Bryce took his first three steps on March 26. This is the first time he walked and he went all out taking three steps the first time!

dirty birds

Nolan and Bryce find all the dirt to get in.
They both love to be outside and spend a lot of time pushing the trucks, jumping on the trampoline and digging in the dirt.
Bryce tries to eat the dirt and gets very angry when you take him out of the garden.
Bryce also loves the cozy coupe. The first time he got inside, he knew how to steer the wheel!

therapy session

I call my alone time with Bryce our therapy sessions.
We sit together and play and laugh and have a great time. He really is a smart boy. In a span of 3 minutes, he learned to roar like a dino, and hiss like a snake.

Happy 10 Month Birthday, Bryce!

My little guy is ten months old!
He has 2 teeth on the bottom, and one coming in on the top. He loves to move but is not yet walking. It seems like he should start walking any day now. He is a very determined boy and wants things to be his way. He is pretty mellow most of the time unless he has his mind set on something. Then he is very vocal about having things his way!
He loves to laugh, sing, and move.

bryce-a-roni

Bryce is a real entertainer.
He loves to make a silly face at the table while we are all eating. His whole body gets stiff and he shakes.
He laughs and laughs!
