Halloween at Sesame

We had so much fun at the Sesame Halloween celebration. The cold and rain couldn't keep the kids from trick or treating and having a blast. Nolan dressed as a vampire and told everyone that looked at him "I want to suck your blood."

whoa!

Bryce often has a look of shock on his face as he discovers new things. He eyes get really wide and he stares very intently. He has a new interest in Toots the train. He loves to stare at it in amazement.

fall pics

it is next to impossible to get them to both look at the camera at the same time and smile!

starting to sit up

just for very short times with a little assistance

hey honey

Yes, Nolan has started to call us honey instead of Mommy and Daddy. He picked this up from us because this is what we call each other and him!
On this day Nolan called me honey about 106 times.

boys are funny.

Bryce seems way too little to think that destruction is funny. Apparently that "boy side" is present from birth
For Halloween we put a ghost on top of our lazy susan. Nolan spins it and Bryce loves to watch it fall! He just laughs and laughs and laughs.

first time in the high chair

Bryce tried out the highchair for the first time. He liked being able to see us at the table and reach his toys. He was very happy with this new view for a few minutes but then wanted to be out!

Fall is here

We got out hay bales!

a new love

Bryce suddenly loves the pacifier. He couldn't take it for so long because he gagged so easily. Now, he can't get enough. I popped it in is mouth in the car to give my fingers and face a break and he was happy as could be.
This is very useful because he still hates the car. Sometimes he will begin shrieking the minute his back hits the car seat. He means business with the shrieking, it is not quiet at all.

Happy 4 Month Birthday, Bryce!

He is really starting to be like an octopus. Anything close enough is in his grasp.

moving backward and reaching out

Bryce is moving! Backward! He moves just like an inchworm. He does a face plant and pushes back. He can make it pretty far this was. The only problem is that it never gets him to the toys he is looking at.

headed to the playground

One of our favorite places to go right now. Bryce just started riding forward in the Bjorn. He is not always happy about this and seems to prefer snuggling with me instead of seeing the world. He lasts for a few minutes facing out and then I have to turn him around.

I have feet

jumper

Bryce tried the jumper. At first he looked at me as if to say "what do you think you are doing to me?"
But then he was sold when Nolan and I helped him jump. He isn't ready to jump on his own but definitely enjoys this new toy. I do realize that he is fussy in the video but right now his mood changes in an instant. so he was laughing directly before I took the video.

a happy boy

He just loves kisses, funny noises, and tickles

pushing up

Bryce has gotten so strong! He is pushing up on his arms while he lays on his belly. Every time he is put down on the floor, he rolls over instantly and pushes right up to check things out!
Nolan is right there to cheer him on with all of his accomplishments
