last toothless grin
Bryce's bottom two teeth are poking through. He is drooling excessively and a little cranky. Hopefully the teeth will come through quickly.
Happy 8 Month Birthday, Bryce!
Bryce was 8 months old on the day after we returned from vacation. Eight months seems to be a big developmental time for Bryce. He started crawling, swimming, pulling up, and learned how to drink out of a straw.
Bryce loves singing "twinkle twinkle" and "itsy bitsy spider". He loves drinking out of a cup, splashing, taking a bath, cuddling, playing with my hair, watching his brother, eating paper and eating.
He absolutely hates having his face wiped and lotioned. He also hates having his nose wiped. He screams bloody murder the instant a tissue touches his nose.

split rock resort
really moving
Bryce has been rolling and crawling to get around the house, but only for very short distances. Now he is really crawling. He can make it all the way through the tunnel without stopping. He is suddenly into everything! When the door to our vacation room opened into the hallway he giggled and sprinted toward it!

H2O zone
this place was a blast! We did the baby pool, wave pool, pitch black slides, water sprinklers and the flow rider!
Bryce loved splashing in the fountains and crawled around in the water happily. Nolan became very brave and put his whole head under the raining mushroom. He also did the wheelbarrow walk in the water and loved sitting in the wave pool.

Nolan's first day of School
Nolan had his first day of school at the Montessori Children's House.
We had been talking about going to school and learning new things for a few weeks so that the first day would be smooth. As we discussed going to school, Nolan said he didn't want to go and would be nervous.
When the first day came, he still said he didn't want to go. Of course I was thinking the same thing but I put on my bravest face and took him for his first day without Mommy.
He went in and looked nervous, then when I said goodbye he screamed. It was the worst thing I have ever done. I had to turn away and walk out crying myself.
When I picked him up he was happy as could be, sitting on Miss Sue's lap and singing in music class. He said he had fun and liked school.
