Chincoteague

We had a fantastic week in Chincoteague with my family. The boys got to spend a lot of time with their cousins, and the beach was awesome. When hurricane Bill was coming by the coast, the ocean made a river into the bay. It was an amazing sight and made great tidal pools to play in.
Nolan loved riding on the trolley to get ice cream, and he also loved exploring the pony tales stores. Bryce seemed to be lulled to sleep by the ocean and didn't seem to mind sand all over him.

two month check up

Bryce had his two month check up on August 5. He is now 15 lbs. 12 oz., and 24.75 inches long.
He is growing like crazy! Just look at all the rolls he has.

in the car

I won't include a picture of Bryce in the car because he continues to scream for most of the ride. Somethings that calm him down are:
sucking on my nose
hearing strange noises that Nolan and I make
a vibrating dog toy

He has now figured out how to work the dog toy on his own with his feet. He stares right at it and concentrates very hard to get his feet onto the button to activate the jiggling and barking. He can now tolerate 10 minute rides without screaming thanks to this little dog!

PS- he actually does smile a lot, just not when the camera is out

Bryce's baptism

Bryce was baptized on August 9, 2009. He was an adorable little angel and didn't cry at all.

reaching out

Bryce has started reaching out to the toys on his exersaucer. It didn't take him long to get the hang of it. He can even spin the spinner by himself!

the wading pool and hot air balloons

Bryce finally got into the action at Sesame. He took a dip in the wading pool with no complaints. He is definitely a baby that likes water. He loves the bath too so I actually use it as a way to calm him down at times.
Nolan's favorite ride right now is the hot air balloons. When he found out we were going to take Taylor to Sesame, this is the ride he wanted to take her on. Neither of them look too happy in this picture, but Nolan did enjoy himself on the ride.
