at the resort

This may look like Nolan is hanging out at the pool side bar in the Bahamas, but really it is just our baby pool with a naked little boy inside!

potty training

I have been telling Nolan that we would be potty training as soon as his pack of diapers ran out. The time has come and he got big boy underwear! He is so proud and excited to use the potty.
Update: This picture was taken on 7/12/09. Nolan is now fully potty trained!

The big dark forrest

Nolan loves to ride his tricycle to the playground and walk through the big dark forrest. He asks to go every day. We walk through and look into the stream for fish, throw pebbles, look for animals and also splash into the water. Nolan loves to walk in the water and doesn't even mind when he falls in and gets all wet.
While we are walking, he recites the book "going on a bear hunt" and says "stumble trip, stumble trip" as we walk over the tree roots. Bryce also enjoys these walks because he sleeps in the Baby BJorn the whole time.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's day 2 times this year because Nolan had hand foot and mouth disease on the actual day.
The boys and I made Matt a shirt with this picture on it. What a lucky Daddy!

the play mat and a size 2 diaper

Bryce is just starting to tolerate being down in the exercise mat for a few minutes. He swats at the toys and flashes his smile for Mommy and Nolan. We sit and eat breakfast on the floor next to Bryce while he tries out the exercise mat.
Bryce also started wearing a size 2 diaper on July 5th. The size one diapers were much too small, and the size 2 isn't even that big. We will use this box and then be moving up to a size 3. I can't even believe that is possible!

crazy

this is instant entertainment!

Sesame Place

We love Sesame Place!
We had so much fun this first day that we got season passes, Nolan wasn't sure about the water splashing on his head, but he did enjoy the lazy river, the parade and the show, During the rides he says "I don't like it", "make it stop". But when we get off he says he had fun!
