shopping with daddy

While I went to get a pedicure, daddy took the boys shopping.
Needless to say, they all love to shop. Bryce picked up the chimp. He would not put it down. He hugged it and carried it around. When Matt tried to put it back, he threw a fit.
When I got into the car after my pedicure he was hugging it tight and grinning ear to ear.
He loves to hug it, and feed it a bottle. Look how he is holding BoBo's hand in the picture

trucks

He just loves them. He pushes them constantly, talks about them all the time, checks out wheels, and points and says truck!

1 year check up

Bryce had his one year check up, and is healthy as a horse.
He was 24 lbs 15 oz and 32 inches tall. He is in the 90% for height and the 70% for weight.
Right now he is working on signing and talking. He signs: all done, airplane, and elephant. He says: up.

Bryce loves: the carousel, the popcorn, big bird's nest, the characters, and the jets in the pool, driving the forklift
Nolan loves: the flying fish, the teacups, the characters, the popcorn, and the grocery store

We turned Bryce around when he turned one. We couldn't wait to turn him because he complains about the car so much.
This should help him enjoy riding more.

summer is here

You know it is summer when there are pictures of a slip and slide, watermelon and ice cream at the same BBQ.
This was our memorial day picnic. What a kickoff to the summer!

tv?

As a practice I don't let Bryce watch TV. Usually he easily complies with this because he is too busy walking around and getting into things when Nolan is watching. Today he was engrossed. It was was almost like the first time he noticed the TV.
After a few minutes of staring he was off looking at other things

So hopefully Mommy gets more sleep!
Bryce is happy as a clam snuggling with Nolan. He loves to climb into the bed and snuggle with the pillows and check out the stickers and lights.

chocolate milk

Bryce has been asking to have milk like Nolan does for a few months. Now that he is one, he can have his own cup instead of Nolan's leftovers.
Bryce immediately drank his milk just like Nolan: no hands and walking around the house!

camden aquarium

We went to the aquarium the day after Bryce's birthday.
The boys enjoyed looking at the fish and walking around. Nolan loved to do the touching tanks, although he was slightly scared. Bryce's favorite part was navigating the small step. He went up and down about 50 times.
