Please Touch Museum

We went to the Please Touch Museum, and Nolan was really into the cars. He has recently become interested in trains, cars, smokestacks, exhaust pipes, and big rig trucks. One of his favorite things to talk about in the car is "what do you think that truck is carrying?"
Nolan also enjoyed the painting which we have not tried at home yet. He was very focused on using the brush and also painted Matt's nose.
Bryce enjoyed sleeping in the baby bjorn. Unfortunately his car aversion has not yet ended and he cried for a lot of the trip. He also said his first consonant today.. "Agah". He has turned into quite the conversationalist and lights up when I imitated his sounds.

the swing

Bryce tried the swing for the second time, and this time he clearly liked it! He talked to the animals, smiled, and moved his arms and legs.

our first zucchini

I love to garden, and Nolan seems to have taken to it also. It is especially rewarding when you can pick a big zucchini and enjoy it for dinner.

Smile?

When will I get it?
Well this is the outfit that Matt bought the day we found out we were pregnant with Nolan. Bryce fills it out much better than Nolan ever did!

talking and smiling

Bryce is starting to talk and smile at anyone that gets in his sight. Right now he says "ahh" a lot and smiles. He talks to the animals on his bouncer, the doggy on his changing table and even the fan. On this day, he was talking to Dawn nad Taylor while I made lunch. Bryce is now able to enjoy his toys when someone is sitting and talking to him. He doesn't like to be alone and I can understand why!

We love Sesame Place!

Really, this place is the best place on Earth right now for our family. We just can't get enough of it. Nolan talks about it all the time. He loves the characters, is warming up to the rides, and really loves the wading pools. Bryce is even starting to get in on the action by watching the parade. He was really very interested in all the colors, movement and music!

little smile

Every time I take out the camera, Bryce stops smiling and stares intently. One day I will catch one of has big smiles, but for now here is a little grin.
