H2O zone

this place was a blast! We did the baby pool, wave pool, pitch black slides, water sprinklers and the flow rider!
Bryce loved splashing in the fountains and crawled around in the water happily. Nolan became very brave and put his whole head under the raining mushroom. He also did the wheelbarrow walk in the water and loved sitting in the wave pool.

hello vacation

Here we are on our first day of vacation. We spent a week relaxing and swimming at the H2O zone.

standing in the crib

wow, I am thinking it won't be long until he climbs out because he is constantly watching Michael and Nolan climb in and out.

pulling and pushing up

Bryce figured out how to pull and push up to a stand. He is so thrilled with this new skill that he is standing everywhere. He can crawl a few feet now, so he scopes out a place to stand and gets right to business!

no spoon

Bryce wants to control the things that go in his mouth at mealtime. He doesn't want a spoon, and he wants to try to drink everything. He is pretty persistent so I often give in and mealtime ends up looking very very messy.

Bryce growling

Bryce started a new funny noise...growling.
I am not sure where he gets these silly noises but he is very vocal. He loves to hear someone growl back at him

Nolan's first day of School

Nolan had his first day of school at the Montessori Children's House.
We had been talking about going to school and learning new things for a few weeks so that the first day would be smooth. As we discussed going to school, Nolan said he didn't want to go and would be nervous.
When the first day came, he still said he didn't want to go. Of course I was thinking the same thing but I put on my bravest face and took him for his first day without Mommy.
He went in and looked nervous, then when I said goodbye he screamed. It was the worst thing I have ever done. I had to turn away and walk out crying myself.
When I picked him up he was happy as could be, sitting on Miss Sue's lap and singing in music class. He said he had fun and liked school.
