Right now, Nolan loves to get cozy in front of the fire.
What a sight for me to look up from doing the dishes and see this cute little boy cuddling in front of the fire. He says to me "Mommy I am chilly so I am toasting myself over here"
He makes me smile!

Bryce can now sit up all by himself!

Bryce tried rice cereal for the first time, and he loves it!
He has been begging to eat for a few weeks now, and I finally gave in. He is very persistent. He grabs any food out of our hands and licks it. When we don't let him have the food we are eating, he yells very loudly at us!

Bryce absolutely refused to sleep by himself for a long time. He wanted to sleep and nap right next to Mommy or Daddy. He started this the very first day he was born. He refused to be put down from 3 am to 6 am.
For the first time, he took a nap in his crib!

trick or treating

Halloween was rainy and cold.
The boys went out for a short time with Matt and Nolan didn't seem that impressed. He told me that a lot of people didn't have their lights on and that it was rainy. He got much less candy this year than he did last year.

carving the pumpkins

Nolan did not like carving the pumpkins this year. He hated the slimy seeds and did not want to stick his hand inside the pumpkin at all. I was very surprised by this because very few things seem to bother him. Nolan picked the shapes for the face and loved to see the pumpkin glowing.
Bryce loved carving the pumpkin. He put his hand right in and then licked the pumpkin.
