A new friend

Nolan has a new friend, Hagrid. He takes Hagrid around and reads to him, talks to him and snuggles with him. He tells Hagrid things like "I am going to take you in my arms Hagrid and carry you upstairs." It is so funny to hear him talk to his stuffed animals like this. He also loves to change Chuck E Cheese's diaper and put him down for a nap.

imagination

What an imagination Nolan has. He took a spatula out of the kitchen drawer and entertained himself for 20 minutes. First he used it as a musical instrument and was singing and dancing. Then he used it as an oar while singing "Row Row Row Your Boat."
Last he dipped into the dog water and pretended to paint the floor. While he played, he narrated the whole thing so I could keep track of what he was doing!

Happy Wedding Aunt Tobi and Uncle Adam

What a wonderful weekend we had in Rhode Island! Nolan was the ring bearer, and he did his job perfectly. He walked down the aisle hiding behind his pillow! He danced like crazy at the reception, and even came up with his own move "pregnancy back."

In the sand

It is so funny to watch Nolan play in the sand this year because he loves to do the same activities he did last year.

popsicles

Nolan loves popsicles. He picked out a box at the grocery store, and this is the first time we have had them at home. Now every time he wakes up from a nap, he asks for a "popsiwle". It is a very messy adventure because most of the popsicle ends up on his face, arms, legs, and shirt.

Happy Birthday Grandmom

We went out to celebrate. It was a night of craziness, which it always is when we are all together!
Nolan was thrilled because we sang "happy birthday". He loves to sing all the versions!

In Rhode Island

We went to Rhode Island for the weekend for Uncle Adam's bachelor party and Aunt Tobi's wedding shower.
It was a great weekend, and Nolan had a great time. We walked to the beach in the rain and just hung around.
