grocery lists

Nolan has a new fascination with grocery lists. He loves to have a paper and pen and write out a list of food he will buy at the store. When we play outside, he asks me for a grocery list then gets in his car to go to the store and get the food. When he gets back, he lets me sample all of the food he bought.

bubbles

We have been practicing blowing bubbles, and it is very messy. There is definitely more spit than bubbles. And the bubble solution seems to get everywhere. Nolan even says to me, "Look Mommy I am drooling again"
It is not one of my favorites, but Nolan seems to like it.

Silly Boy

With the nicer weather we have been able to get out more to play. Nolan still loves to play all the same games he did last spring.
He also likes to hunt for dog poop. It sounds crazy, but we scoop every day. Nolan spots a piece and says, "oh I found one." Or, "Oh I found a big poopy from Winston"

Happy Birthday Jen

Jen had a surprise 30 birthday party, and Nolan had a lot of fun playing with new toys and meeting some new friends.
Taylor loves to give hugs to Nolan, but he is much more reserved. Look how serious his face is!

Need sunglasses

Nolan loves to wear sunglasses. Whenever it is sunny he says, "it's sunny out, need sunglasses." He also tells me that it is too sunny to look up into the sky and see airplanes.
We keep a pair of sunglasses in our car for Nolan just for these kind of occasions. One day when Matt was driving Nolan in his car, he asked for his sunglasses. Matt explained to Nolan that he didn't have them in his car. Nolan replied, "Silly Mommy took Nolan's sunglasses"

Mr. Spice

Nolan loves spicy food like hot pepper cheese, salsa, and hot peppers. He clearly gets this from my family. I can remember times that my Dad and Pop Pop Schanberger would sit around the table eating hot peppers straight from the jar.
Nolan is eating salsa straight from a bowl here.

Kitty Cat

Nolan loves to pretend that he is a kitty cat. He crawls on the floor and meows around the house. He even eats more if you tell him that cats love the food he has.
Sometimes when he is meowing at me, I will meow back. He always says "no no Mommy, not meow"
