Lately, Bryce has been finding a lot of creatures at our house. He is so delighted by the nature he finds and he was especially fond of this toad. We named this toad Isabella and she showed up under our trampoline multiple times.

Nolan and Bryce helped with Andy's first sponge bath. It was quite an event. I can tell that Andy will need to be a very patient and tolerant little boy!

Andy is so lucky to be born into a family full of cousins that already love him so much! Robby is a baby whisperer, Ashlynne smothers him in kisses, and Michael wants to be with him all the time. Katie has turned into a little mother's helper.

We took a photo shoot to make Andy's birth announcement. He wanted to keep looking away and putting his hands in his mouth. We did get a good picture though. When I look at Andy, he looks so different from Nolan and Bryce. I can't wait to see how his face changes.

Nolan's end of the year picnic was my first time out with all three boys! Thankfully it was in a back yard so I could watch all three boys. I also had plen of people willing to hold Andy to help me out!

Bryce turned 2 just 3 days after Andy was born. We had a birthday party at the local playground. The weather was much colder than we had anticipated so we were a little chilly! Bryce had so much fun playing with his friends, I had to beg him to come into the pavillion to sing happy birthday. We had a pinata but he did not want to hit it. He did have fun picking up the candy though!

We came home from the hospital the day after Andy was born. We were all excited to get home ans spend time with our new baby. Bryce was excited to introduce everyone to our new baby. He said "look it is our new baby" many many times.

Our sweet adorable baby boy number 3 came on May 19. He was 3 days late. After an easy labor, he came quickly and managed to tear his umbilical cord along the way. He was stunned but after a few seconds, which seemed like hours, was crying and doind great! He looks like a tiny peanut. He was 7 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long. He is also our first baby with hair!

I am due today. I feel a million weeks pregnant and I am very ready for Andy to come! I just can't believe that I am going to be regnantast me due date! I have tried a lot of the home remedies to induce labor with no success. I guess he just isn't ready!

Nolan's school had a mother's day celebration. The students made cookies, sang for thr mommies and made us pins. When Nolan sang "you are my sushine" to me I was balling. It was so nice to spend special time together. Nolan was so proud of the pin he made and the special placemat he made for us to share cookies on.

Nolan and Bryce are so funny to watch together. One minute they are best buds, and the next they are fighting like crazy. Luckily they are mostly best buds. Here they are doing the silverware together. They love to do chores for candy.

Every time we visit our new house the boys are so excited. It is still hard to visualize as a home, but Nolan takes a lot of pictures of thr frame! Bryce says "our new house" everg time we pull up and wants to try out the steps. He is also able to find " mommy's closet in the house!

Easter was a wonderful candy filled day. Nolan and Bryce woke up early to beautiful easter baskets and an egg hunt at our house. Bryce started eating marshmallow candy right away and Nolan was a pro at the egg hunt. Later we hadna big egg hunt with all the cousins. Bryce was more interested in pushing his basket around in a stroller!

Dying the Easter eggs was so much fun this year. Both of the boys were really into it. Bryce moved his eggs from color to color, and Nolan was into the sparkles. We had a few color spills but a lot of fun!

Nolan's party was awesome!
He had been planning to have a party at a bounce house for at least 6 months. He had so much fun playing. The funny part was that he really wanted to have the party at Party Magic. He talked about it repeatedly, but it wasn't an option because it is further.

Nolan's birthday was filled with three celebrations! We had cookies and singing at aunt kristen's house. Then we had blueberrypie at aunt aimee's. Last we had chinese from pf changs (nolan's fav), and brownies at home. We sang happy birthday all day long.
Nolan had a list of presents he wanted: a violin, a ball pit, a rocket launcher, a diego tree house, and others.
At the age of four, Nolan can read, write, spell words, climb on anything, do long jumps, tell jokes, play the ipod and computer alone, and swim alone. He is kind and shows God's love to everyone. He is an excellent big brother. He always helps bryce and teaches him new things. He shares everything. He has also turned into a wrestler!

We made funfetti cookies with blue icing and sprinkles for Nolan's birthday snack at school. Bryce and I. Were allowed to visit for snack time, and Bryce got to sit with Nolan. We also were able to play on the playground together. All of Nolan's classmates loved Bryce and followed him all around. Before we left for school, we tried to take picture, but Bryce would not stand with Nolan.
Noln made a gold crown at school with 4 of every sticker. He was so proud of it!

everything is wet when this duo is done. In the bath, they love to float, practice swimming, splash like crazy, pour cups, spray the spray bottle and make bubble beards.

finally we have some nice weather to enjoy outside play time. The boys have made a lot of changes since we have had nice weather. Bryce likes to ride the atv, he is great at t ball, and can balance on the curb alone.
Nolan is strong enough to do monkey bars alone, and is getting more daring on the playground equipment. He will even swing on his own!

Nolan was sweet enough to help both Taylor and Bryce get up to the top of the climber.

we went to the zoo on a perfect cool day. The animals were moving and we saw so many neat things. The peacocks and geese surrounded us during lunch, the lions were moving, the sea otters followed Nolan, and the boys loved brushing the goats. Bryce actually loved brushing everything including the ground!
Bryce also loved the spider monkeys and sat to watch them jump and climb for about 10 minutes. He found a spot, sat himself down and did not want to move!

Nolan has been waiting and waiting to try out these roller skates. He did a great job and was completely padded before he started. Good thing he was because he loves a dramatic fall. His whole body goes down.

These two love the bath. They get so wild with the splashing that the whole bathroom gets wet. Nolan loves to dump water on his head, and Bryce yells "no Nol Nol" because he does not like it. Even though Bryce doesn't get splashed by the water, he still screams. They also both practice flaoting in the bath and blowing bubbles. They also love to make bubble beards on themselves and me!

Bryce continues to loves to take rides. He loves a horsey ride and the "noble duke of york" on someone's knees. Nolan has taken it on himself to help me give Bryce rides. He can lift Bryce up on his knees and also carry him around the house. It is amazing how strong he is. Of course these rides often turn into wrestling matches!

Nolan adores Mom Mom. He talks about her all the time and has also become obsessed with the number 90 because she is 90 years old. He asks to visit her all the time and has recently started calling her 90 as a nick name!

Everytime we come to Grandmom's house, the boys put on a show. Nolan has been singing on the stage (hearth) for some time now, but it is new for Bryce. Bryce gets on the stage with a huge smile and sings "na na na na" which is one of the cherub choir songs. This is one of his favorite songs right now and he always requests it in the car!

SNOW

This year, Nolan loves the snow. He always wants to go out. Bryce also enjoys it but has a hard time walking and needs to be carried. He does not stay out as long as Nolan.
While Nolan is outside he makes snow angels and foot prints and loves to throw snowballs at my back!

Christmas

Christmas was such a wonderful celebration. The big surprise for the boys was a train table. It took a long time to design the track just so, but it really paid off. They were thrilled. Nolan was so excited about all the presents, and this is the first year he was able to keep opening and get all his presents opened. Bryce did not want to keep opening and at our house and Grandmom's had a lot of leftover presents. After he opened two monster cars, he played with them for the rest of the day! Nolan especially loved the microphone and was thrilled to be singing for everyone!

Nolan and Bryce were not very happy about getting ready to go to church. The stress of getting everyone ready and out the door on time gets to them.
Once we were there, they were fine. Nolan sang in the cherub choir. He is a real star. He always knows all the words and sings the whole song!

We got our Christmas tree very late this year because it rained so much in December. We go to a small farm that is open only on the weekends. Thankfully we always look for the samllest tree that is allowed to be cut so it will fit in our very small house.
While we were looking, the boys enjoyed ice skating on a frozen puddle, and running up and down a pile of dirt. Bryce spent a lot of time running away, and Nolan followed Daddy to help locate the perfect tree!

We went to see Santa at the airport and it was a real hit!
Bryce calls Santa "ho ho", and was very excited to see a helicopter, which he loves and calls by name.
Nolan was also thrilled because he understands the idea of presents now and got to open his present and Bryce's (because Bryce was too busy trying to run away, another thing he loves!)

Bryce has really become quite a talker. He says a lot of words now, but probably says "this" and "that" the most. He loves rough play like wrestling and being thrown around. One new thing he also loves is getting an airplane ride.

Nolan really loves to ride his new bike, and it is even more fun in Grandmom's circle because there are hardly any cars. Because Nolan graduated to the two wheeler, Bryce got fitted for the tricycle. So far Bryce prefers pulling the tricycle along with him instead of riding it!

These two find delight in everything. Sharing a bowl of applesauce can turn into a funny game of silly faces and crazy noises. They also ate about 4 bowls of applesauce between the two of them!
And obviously eating ice cream becomes an instant messy party. Everything Bryce eats get smashed into his face. He holds his two hands in front of his mouth, smashes in the food and chews the whole thing. I have never seen anything like it!

With two boys together, we spend a lot of time playing. No matter how many times I see it, I am amazed at the fun they have with the simplest things. They love to play with their toys, but they also love playing with boxes, marbles and cups, couch cushions, blankets, and teh sink!

The boys were both so excited to Trick or Treat. We couldn't even get Bryce to stand still long enough to get a picture of them together. This is the first time Bryce trick or treated and got candy. His favorite was the lollipop!

The boys had a great time carving pumpkins. This year, Nolan was not afraid of the slimy pumpkin seeds. Of course Bryce got right into it! Bryce also wanted to carve just like Daddy so he used a screwdriver to poke holes in the pumpkin.

Nolan's Halloween parade at school was adorable. His class sang songs and paraded around for the parents to see. Of course, Nolan knew all the words and was the star!

Nolan had a class field trip to Kohler farm and it was so much fun, we decided to go back as a family.
We took the hay ride and picked a pumpkin. The boys loved to watch the dancing scarecrows and also walking through the pumpkin patch and corn field. Bryce did not want to sit during the hay ride and was very angry that we made him.

Bryce loves the giant rubber duck on the slides and the trains. He is very independent so he will run away and walk himself over to the trains. Nolan can climb the ropes and all the way to the top of the cookie mountain by himself!

Nolan and I went to his first day of school together. He started at a new school this year and is so excited to meet his teacher and meet his new friends.

Bryce is not generally the type of boy who stands still. He is always moving. He spends endless amounts of time pushing trucks, climbing and dancing.
When the easel came out, he was still for about 5 minutes. He knew exactly what to do without even being shown!

I love iced coffee and so do the boys. Every morning I have to hide my iced coffee so I can drink it without being harassed by Nolan and Bryce. Once they realize that I have my coffee they steal it from me. Bryce throws mini tantrums if he doesn't get it. I have to drink as fast as I can because I don't really want him to have too much coffee!

One of our favorite outings is the playground. Nolan gets to choose if we will go to the little playground or the big playground. Bryce adores the swing and would swing the whole time if I let him. A few times I have noticed his eyes getting heavy and closing to fall asleep.
Nolan climbs on all of the equipment, and even climbs the rails and on the top of the tunnels. He is very monkey like!

Michaels' Birthday at the Pool

We celebrated Michael's birthday at the pool and had a great time splashing and water painting. Both boys now run in different directions so it is very hard to keep up with them!

This was the perfect week at the beach! Nolan was fascinated by all the nature. Bryce loved picking up shells and digging. The bay was a great swimming spot. We rode the trolley to get ice cream, and we saw the horses up close drinking out of the shower. We all rode a surrey bicycle and climbed the lighthouse

We had a great time at the beach. Nolan and Bryce both loved playing in the sand and the water. Bryce had no fear and would just run straight into the ocean. Nolan loved looking for clams and other small creatures to hold and love.
The boys also had a great time on the boardwalk taking in all the sights and riding the tram. Bryce loved the sea gulls and the boats in the water. Nolan went miniature golfing and even got a hole in one!

first haircut

Bryce had his first haircut on July 4th. I never want to cut the boys hair because it makes them look more mature but after enough complaints from Matt I broke out the scissors.

This year we went to see fireworks at Peddler's Village. We had a picnic dinner and waited for the fireworks to begin. The field was covered with grasshoppers and crickets, they were everywhere.
Nolan and Bryce both liked the fireworks, but not the noise.

Bryce tried using a fork for the first time and was pretty successful! He can get pieces into his mouth if I stab the food. Because he loves to be independent, getting the fork to get the food onto it is a challenge.

Bryce is such a good problem solver. He loves to push trucks and sticks and vacuums, and really anything he can. When we are outside he knows he needs to push anything directly under the trampoline so it will move without getting stuck.

Nolan loves bugs. He is always on the look out for a new friend to catch and observe. He loves bugs so much that we have a pet cricket named Post.
